Ingredients

  • flour - up to 12 oz (350 g)
  • water - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • sugar - a pinch
  • yeast - 0.3 oz (8 g) cube
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp.
  • for garnish
  • zucchini - 1 pc.
  • zucchini flowers - 3 - 4 pcs.
  • gorgonzola - 1.8 oz (50 g) or mozzarella
  • bacon - 4 thin strips

How to make

Put the sifted flour in a bowl, add the salt and olive oil.

Pour the warm water, in which you dissolved the yeast with a pinch of sugar.

Knead a soft dough, shape it into a ball, put in a bowl and cover it with a piece of cling film.

Leave it in a warm place, until the pizza dough has doubled in size.

Cut the zucchini into thin circles and salt them. Split the zucchini flowers in half and remove the stamen.

Roll out the dough into a thin crust. Arrange the zucchini, add the zucchini flowers, bacon strips and pieces of cheese on top.

Bake the pizza at 430°F (220°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until it aquires an appetizing color.

Serve the Zucchini and Bacon Pizza immediately.
