Ingredients

  • for the dough
  • flour - 1.3 lb (600 g)
  • water - 10 fl oz (300 ml)
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp.
  • dry yeast - 0.25 oz (7 g)
  • for the stuffing
  • minced beef - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • pepper - 1 pc. green + 1 pc. red
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • onion - 1 onion
  • parsley - 1/2 bunch
  • tomatoes - 1 pc.
  • paprika - 1 tsp.
  • cumin - 2 tsp.
  • black pepper

How to make

The flour is sifted. In the middle put the water, yeast, salt and olive oil.

Knead a soft non-sticky dough. Place it in a greased bowl and leave it to rise in a warm place.

The chopped peppers, garlic and onions are blended together.

Add the blended vegetables, finely chopped parsley, peeled and finely chopped tomato, cumin, black pepper and paprika to the minced meat.

If necessary, the mixture is seasoned with salt. Mix it well and leave it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

The dough is divided into 10-12 equal parts, which are rolled out into circles.

The minced meat is distributed on them. Place them onto baking paper.

Bake the lahmacun for 6-8 minutes at 200 degrees.

The Tasty Lahmacun Turkish Pizza is served with a lemon, fresh vegetables or yogurt sauce.
