In this article we will suggest some delicious ideas for sauces that are suitable for meatballs, which will impress you.

Spicy sauce with orange juice

Required products: 1/5 cup of ketchup, 1 orange (juice), 1/4 tsp. hot paprika, 2 tbsp. soy sauce, 2 tbsp. mustard, 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar, 2 tbsp. cornstarch, 2 tbsp. sugar

Preparation: Mix the orange juice, sugar, starch and apple cider vinegar and stir until the sugar dissolves. Separately, mix the ketchup, soy sauce, hot paprika and mustard. Add everything into a thick-bottomed pan. Cook over medium heat, while making sure you stir. After about 5 minutes, or as soon as the sauce thickens, remove it from the stove. In the finished sauce you can add grated orange peel and you get a very tasty sweet and sour sauce with a citrus flavor.

Classic white sauce

Necessary products: 1 tbsp. flour, 1/5 tbsp. butter, 2-3 tbsp. broth

Preparation: Rub the butter with the flour and place them into the pan and heat them. Stir until the flour turns yellow. Combine the mixture with the vegetable or chicken broth and stir with a spatula until you get the desired density. Serve with cooked meatballs.

Sour cream sauce

Required products: 1/5 cup of sour cream, 1 tbsp. butter, 1 tbsp. flour, 1 tbsp. broth, salt - by taste

Preparation: Lightly fry the flour in butter and dilute it with hot vegetable or chicken broth. Add the cream and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes. Strain the sauce, add as much salt to it as you like and pour it over the meatballs.

Sour cream sauce with onions

Required products: 1/5 cup of sour cream, 1 ½ tbsp. butter, 1 tbsp. flour, 1 tbsp. broth, 1 onion, 1/5 tbsp. hot sauce, salt - by taste

Preparation: Fry the flour in butter and dilute it with hot vegetable or chicken broth. Add the sour cream and cook it over low heat for about 8 minutes. Separately, fry the finely chopped onion along with the butter, add it to the sauce and stir. Remove the prepared sauce from the heat, add as much salt as you like and add the hot sauce. Serve with the cooked meatballs.

Mushroom sauce

Required products: 1.5 tbsp. sour cream, 250 -300 g fresh mushrooms, 1 onion, 1 tbsp. flour, oil, salt, black pepper

Preparation: Grab two pans. In one of them, fry the thinly sliced mushrooms and in the other one - the chopped onion. Combine the contents of the two pans, add the flour and fry until golden. Add the cream, salt and sprinkle with your desired amount of spices. Simmer on low heat for a few minutes and remove it from the stove. Place the prepared sauce in a blender and blend it until it's smooth. Pour it over the cooked meatballs.
