To ensure the maximum experience of eating appetizing schnitzels, you must prepare a sauce to complete the look of the dish. Here are some suitable schnitzel sauces!

Traditional tomato sauce with basil

For the recipe, you need 1.1 lb (0.5 kg) of tomatoes, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, about 2-3 cloves of garlic, 2 onions, 1 cup of white wine, 1 bay leaf, 1/4 tsp. marjoram, a few pinches of basil and as much salt and black pepper as you like.

Tomato Sauce for Schnitzels

First you wash the tomatoes and then you grate them, the goal being to remove the skins. Then peel the garlic and onion and grate them on the grater. Heat olive oil in a pan, then add onion and garlic to it. Fry them for about 15 minutes and add all the spices. Serve the tomato sauce with the schnitzels.

Tomato sauce with butter

For it you need about 12 fl oz (350 ml) of tomato puree, 2 1/2 cups (600 ml) of broth, 3.5 oz (100 g) of butter, 0.7 oz (20 g) of sugar, as much black pepper and salt as you like, 2/5 cup (100 ml) of white wine and about 3 cloves of garlic.

Put the broth along with the tomato puree in a pot. Boil them together on low heat, until a thick mixture is obtained. Add the butter, sugar, black pepper, garlic and white wine. Leave the ingredients together on the stove for about 15 minutes and then turn it off. Serve this delicious schnitzel sauce warm or cold.

Mushroom Sauce

Mushroom Sauce for Schnitzels

You need 9 oz (250 g) of mushrooms, 1.1 oz (30 g) of butter, black pepper, 1 onion, salt and as much arsley as you like. Cut the onion and stew it in the butter. Add the chopped mushrooms to it and continue to stew. If desired, you can add to the schnitzel sauce cooking cream as well, for a more liquid consistency. Season with black pepper and salt. As soon as the products soften well, remove them from the heat. Serve the mushroom sauce with freshly chopped parsley.
