Meatballs with sauce

Although meatballs are often accompanied by side dishes with potatoes or rice, we should not forget, that sauces can also do a great job and be a good addition to meatballs. The recipes we have selected are suitable not only for meatballs, but also for vegetable patties.

Garlic sauce with coriander

Necessary products: 1 onion, 3 cloves of garlic, 3 green peppers, broth cube, coriander, oil.

Method of preparation: The broth cube is dissolved in 1 1/5 cups (300 ml) of water. Fry the finely chopped onion and garlic in the fat and after they are fried, add the finely chopped pepper.

Add the broth and coriander and leave the mixture to simmer for a few minutes. Then it is blended using a liquidizer. The sauce is served warm.

Our next meatball sauce suggestion is very tasty and easy. This time the sauce will be with tomatoes, which you have to finely chop and put in a pot along with 4/5 cup (200 ml) of water or some kind of broth - leave them on the stove to boil. Once the tomatoes have softened, the mixture should be blended well.

In a separate container, a thickener is made using fat, to which flour is added. Pour it into the tomato paste and add black pepper, bay leaf, salt, and a pinch of sugar. The mixture is put back on the stove to boil for ten minutes. Finally, add a tiny lump of butter.

The sauce is great not only for meat, but also for potato patties and pasta.

The last suggestion for sauce is with processed cheese - the sauce becomes so delicious, that the meatballs on your plate can take a back seat. Here are the necessary products:
