But many do not know that in fact the nut in the avocado seed can be defined as a superfood. It is rich in a large amount of fiber and amino acids, which are essential for preventing various diseases.
The seed of the avocado contains nearly 70 percent of the amino acids in the fruit. Thanks to them, you can reduce the levels of bad cholesterol and from that the risk of cardiovascular disease. The seed of the fruit cures stomach problems, has antitumor action, helps fight excess weight and strengthens the immune system.
Thanks to the high content of antioxidants in the avocado seed, its consumption prevents premature aging, nourishes the hair and has a beneficial effect on thyroid problems.
But how exactly are avocado seeds consumed? You can remove the brown skin of the nut and eat it raw, but keep in mind that the taste is not the most pleasant.
Another option is to peel it, bake it until it aquires a brown color and grind it with a blender. That way you can add a little of it as a spice to salads and other dishes or soak 1 tsp. of it in boiling water and drink it like tea.
