How to make
Sift the flour. Add the yeast, sugar, salt and oil. Pour in the water and knead a soft dough.
Leave the dough to rise. Tear 14-16 balls from the ready dough. Make each ball into a strip, and the strip into a bagel, in turn.
Boil salted water and put the bagels in the boiling water. The bagels are ready when they rise to the surface.
Dissolve the pekmez in water (1:1) in a bowl. Dip each bagel in the mixture, then in sesame seeds and bake them in a heated oven dish, laid out with baking paper, to a golden crisp.
If you don't have pekmez, you can substitute it with honey.
