How to make
Crumble the yeast in half the milk, add the sugar, stir and leave it to swell. Pour this into the flour, add the eggs, oil, remaining milk, salt, stir with a fork to shape it into a ball.
Pour it onto the counter and knead a soft dough, cover it with a towel and let it rise for 1 hour.
Knead again lightly, divide it up into 16 balls. Divide each ball in 2, form 2 wicks, each about 15 1/2″ (40 cm) long and twist them about each other. Stick the ends together, to form a bagel, and arrange in a large buttered oven dish.
Stir the honey in a bowl of water with a fork. Smear the prepared bagels with the honey water and sprinkle generously with sesame. Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven for about 20 min. until golden.
