"Taste and aroma, which you will fall in love with from the first bite"

Ingredients

  • apples - 1 pc. (about 200 g)
  • flour - 7 oz (200 g)
  • baking powder - 1 tbsp (10 g)
  • coconut milk - 3.4 fl oz (100 ml)
  • orange juice - from 1/2 orange
  • lemon juice - from 1/2 lemon
  • sugar - 1.1 oz (30 g)
  • cinnamon - by taste
  • oil - for frying
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling
measures

How to make

Peel an apple and grate it. Squeeze the lemon and orange juices on it, sprinkle it with sugar and stir. That way it won't darken.

Add the coconut milk and start adding the flour in portions, which has been sifted with baking powder and a pinch of salt. Stir until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. It should be a little thicker than the sponge cake batter, so if necessary, add more flour.

This quantity is indicative, as it depends on how juicy the apple is, the size of the orange and the quality and brand of the flour itself.

Heat the oil over medium to high heat and with the help of two spoons pour the mixture in it. You scoop with one and push the mixture off of it with the other.

Fry the buhti on both sides until they're nicely browned and then place them onto kitchen paper to absorb excess fat.

Once they cool, sprinkle them with powdered sugar and eat them with pleasure!

The best vegan apple fritters are ready.
