"We know it`s time to fast, so we`d like to treat you to these vegan biscuit and apple truffles."

Ingredients

  • plain biscuits - 12.5 oz (350 g)
  • powdered sugar - 1 cup
  • cocoa - 1 tsp.
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp.
  • grated apples - 1 cup
  • margarine - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • coconut flakes - 1 cup + 0.7 oz (20 g) for rolling
  • vanilla sugar - 1 pc.

How to make

Put the ground biscuits, powdered sugar, cocoa, cinnamon, vanilla sugar, 1 cup coconut flakes in a bowl and stir very well.

Add the peeled and grated apples and soft margarine (slightly warmed but not melted).

Stir the mixture very well and place the bowl in the fridge for about 30 min.

From it form balls the size of a small apple, roll them in the coconut flakes and arrange in a suitable plate. Stick box leaves in them, store in the fridge.

You can substitute the coconut flakes with ground walnuts.
