Ingredients

  • red wine - 4 1/2 cups (1.1 L)
  • sugar - 1 2/5 cups (340 g)
  • water - 1 1/5 cups (280 ml)
  • cinnamon - 1 stick
  • vanilla - 1 stick
  • lemon zest
  • orange zest
  • ginger - 1
  • peaches - 6, peeled

How to make

Mix all of the ingredients, excluding the peaches. Pour them into a pot and bring the mixture to a boil.

Once the sauce is reduced add the peaches and saute them. Cooking time depends on the size and quality of the peaches.

Remove them from the syrup once ready, remove the vanilla and cinnamon sticks. Slice up the peaches and serve them with the syrup.
