How to make
Peel the pears, by leaving the stems.
Cut a little off the bottom of the pears, so that they can stand up.
In a medium-sized pot pour the wine, cinnamon, cloves, anise and sugar.
Put the pears in the pot. Place the pot on the stove and leave them until it starts boiling, then reduce the heat and leave them to boil for 30-35 minutes, by turning the pears every 5 minutes so they are evenly colored.
Boil, until poached pears are cooked but are not too soft.
Cool the Pears with Cinnamon in Red Wine to room temperature. Cover and refrigerate them for at least 2 hours.
Pour a few spoons of the syrup over each pear and serve them.
