Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until slightly pink. It is checked with a toothpick, by pricking it and it should come out clean. It is ready in 10-12 minutes and is removed.

To roll up a sponge cake roll, there are two ways. First, prepare a dry cotton towel. Place a piece of baking paper on it, which is sprinkled with 2-3 tablespoons of granulated sugar, but it can also be done directly on the towel.

It can also be rolled up with just a towel that is wet and squeezed well from the water.

The baked dough is turned over, the paper with which it was baked is removed and it is rolled up into a roll. It is left like this for a short time - about 15 minutes are enough. Then the dough is unrolled, spread with a filling of your choice. The sponge cake roll can be spread with marmalade, chocolate spread, cream, jam and whatever you want.

Then roll it up again and let it set in the refrigerator.

Before serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar mixed with vanilla or a decoration of your choice and according to your imagination - it depends on the occasion for which it is prepared.
