Ingredients

  • for the crust
  • whole grain flour - 1 cup (250 g)
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • yeast - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • for the toppings
  • tomato paste - 2 tbsp
  • cream - 1 - 2 tbsp
  • tomatoes - 1
  • peppers - 1, red
  • onions - 1/3 head
  • ham - 2 slices
  • cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g), or more
  • olive oil - 1 - 2 tbsp
  • eggs - 1, beaten

How to make

Dissolve the yeast with the sugar in a little warm water. Once it activates, pour it into a well in the sifted flour. Add the salt, olive oil and gradually knead a smooth dough. Leave it in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and wait for it to rise.

Then lay out a tray with baking paper, pour in a little olive oil on top and lay out the dough over the baking paper. Use your hands to form a border. On top of the dough, add the grated or chopped cheese, ham, thin slices of tomato, pepper, onions. Pour on a little olive oil over the dough but more generously over the edges.

Put the pizza to bake in a preheated 370°F (190 °C) oven for 10-15 min.

1 min. before taking it out of the oven, pour the beaten egg over it.
