Red Lentil Pate Recipe with an exceptionally thick texture, making it easy to spread on toast or crackers!
In 1 cup of boiling water, pour the sunflower oil and boil the finely chopped ginger, garlic and peppers. Break the cauliflower into small florets and boil them.
The separately cleaned and washed (2-3 times) red lentils, are optionally soaked for 5 minutes and then it is added to the vegetables!
In a small bowl, pour the spices one after the other - Himalayan salt - 1 tsp. by taste, turmeric - 1 level top tsp., cumin - 1/2 tsp., coriander - 1-2 pinches, savory herb - 1/2 level top tsp., spearmint - 1/2 level top tsp., paprika - 1/2 tsp., black pepper - 2-3 pinches, brown crystal sugar - 1/2 tsp. to add a gentle caramelized sweetness.
Add water gradually and little by little, just enough to cook the lentils. Cook, bystirring constantly, until the products are fully cooked.
Pour the slightly cooled lentils into a powerful blender and blend for a few seconds - until we get the desired thick creamy consistency!
Serve the pate with toasted whole grain bread!
