Ingredients

  • red lentils - 10 oz (300 g)
  • onions - 1/2 onion
  • water - 4 and 1/2 cups (900 ml)
  • oil - 2 - 3 tbsp.
  • salt - 2 pinches
  • paprika - 1 pinch

How to make

The washed and finely chopped onion is fried in hot oil. Add salt and paprika, stir and add the water.

Once the water boils, add the red lentils, that were pre-soaked in water for 10 minutes. Boil it until it thickens and stir it occasionally.

Serve the stew warm.
