How to cook
Finely chop the vegetables and fry them in oil. Add the red lentils and pour boiling water over them.
Leave them, until the lentils are cooked. This takes usually between 15-20 minutes. Add the tomatoes and spices.
Be careful with the salt, because after boiling, it has a more intense taste. You can season the soup with salt after removing it from the stove.
Strain the cooked lentils, but not completely. This way, both the pieces of lentils and vegetables will be felt and the lentil soup will become thick and creamy.
Serve the cream soup warm with green spices.
The creamy red lentil soup is ready.
