How to make
Pour the red lentils with lukewarm water and put them on the stove.
Add a pinch of salt, finely chopped onion and finely chopped carrots.
Boil, until they soften for 15 minutes, but they should not become mushy.
Strain the lentils for the recipe and pour them into a deep dish.
Peel the beetroot and boil it, until it softens.
Cut it into cubes and add it into the dish.
Add chopped parsley and basil leaves.
Mix the apple cider vinegar, olive oil or burdock oil, salt, honey and turmeric.
Mix and pour the mixture over the lentil salad.
Carefully stir and serve it for lunch or dinner.
