Ingredients

  • halloumi cheese - 9 oz (250 g) per piece
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp. + more for sprinkling
  • cayenne pepper flakes (2 pinches)
  • basil - 5 leaves
  • wild garlic - 5 thin stalks

How to make

If the piece of cheese is very thick, cut it in half lengthwise.

Spread the halloumi with olive oil and rub the cayenne pepper flakes into it. You can also add whatever spices you like.

Let the cheese stand for about 20 minutes at room temperature.
