Ingredients

  • red beets - 10 pcs. (small heads)
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • sugar - 1 tsp.
  • balsamic vinegar - 5 tbsp.
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • basil - 5 pcs. (leaves)

How to make

Peel and wash the beets and place them in a suitable pot.

Pour two liters of water and add sugar and mix everything well.

Put the pot on the stove on a moderately heated hob to boil the water.

Boil for 30 minutes or more, if necessary.

When the beets can be easily pierced, they are ready.

Take them out of the water to cool and then peel them.

Season the beets with vinegar, garlic and basil.

Your salad is ready!
