"Healthy granola bar - for an afternoon snack or for after a workout in the gym."

Ingredients

  • butter - 1/4 cup
  • honey - 1/4 cup
  • brown sugar - 1/3 cup
  • oats - 2 cups
  • cereal - 1 cup
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp.
  • chocolate chips - 1/4 cup, plus more for garnish
  • marshmallows - 1/2 cup, plus more for garnish

How to make

Mix the cereal, oats, 1/2 cup of marshmallows and mini chocolate chips together (if you want them less chocolatey, leave the chips until the end).

In a small saucepan, melt the butter, honey and brown sugar together over medium-high heat, until the mixture boils. Reduce the heat and cook for another two minutes. Stir with the vanilla.

Remove it from the heat and pour it over the cereal mixture. Mix well, by making sure all ingredients are moistened. Line a small baking pan with aluminum foil.

Pour the mixture into the lined baking pan.

Add more chocolate chips and marshmallows on top. Leave it to cool, then cut it into granola bars.
