How to make

The quinces are cleaned from the pale fuzz and wrapped nicely in aluminum foil. The oven is heated to 480°F (250°C) and before putting the quinces in it, it is reduced to 300°F (150°C).

At this temperature, the quinces are baked for about 60-70 minutes. The degrees of the oven may not be reduced, but then the baking time should be estimated according to them.

When the quinces are baked, unwrap them from the foil, cut them in half and arrange them on a serving plate. Drizzle them with honey. Then lightly sprinkle them with cinnamon and brown sugar.

Finally, with the help of a very sharp knife, the walnuts are cut into not very fine, but not very large pieces.

Sprinkle the quinces with the walnuts. After they cool down, at least after 10-15 minutes, they are ready to be served and consumed.
