How to make
An exceptional spring refreshing elderberry juice with brown sugar and herbal honey for a sunny picnic with the family!
Pour 1 liter of filtered water into a medium-sized glass jug.
Rinse the 5 large elderflowers and carefully examine for bugs. Dip the aromatic white flowers into the jug.
Pour 5 full tablespoons of brown crystal sugar, 3 tbsp. natural herbal honey and freshly squeezed juice from about half a lemon - or according to taste.
Stir until the sugar and honey dissolve and cover with a lid. Leave the jug for 24 hours in a dark and cool place, which can optionally be covered with a cotton linen cloth.
After 1 day, serve the Fresh Elderberry Juice with Brown Sugar and Honey from spring elderflowers, freshly chilled in a glass with a favorite homemade cake or lemon cake.
