How to make
Pour the sugar and water into a deep pot on the stove. Wait for it to boil and add the lemon juice. Reduce the power of the stove and let it boil on low heat.
Mix the starch with 1/2 cup of water and gradually pour it into the mixture while stirring continuously.
Also add the cream and continue to mix. The mixture should have a thick consistency.
Coat the sides of the tray in which we will cool the Turkish delight with almond oil. Pour the mixture into it and let it cool.
On a counter or a wide tray, mix the powdered sugar with the starch and distribute them evenly over the entire surface.
Pour the cooled Turkish delight on them.
Coat a sharp knife with almond oil and cut the Turkish delight into long strips, roll them well in powdered sugar and cut them into cubes and roll again in powdered sugar.
