"Great idea for a starter, just spread the Garlicky Spinach and Hazelnut Pesto on a slice of toasted bread and enjoy!"

Ingredients

  • baby spinach - 2 handfuls
  • sea salt - 1 tsp.
  • black pepper - 5 grains
  • white pepper - 5 grains
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp.
  • garlic - 1 clove
  • hazelnuts - 1/2 handful

How to make

Grind all the ingredients in a blender to a smooth, homogeneous consistency.

This pesto can be consumed instantly, or preserved in a jar for up to one week.

Serve the Garlicky Spinach and Hazelnut Pesto on crackers, or toasted wholegrain bread.

Pairs nicely with tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and olives.

Perfect with a glass of chilled white wine.
