Ingredients

  • baby spinach leaves - 1.5 cups
  • basil - 3/4 cup
  • grated parmesan - 1/2 cup
  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp.
  • lemon peel - 1/2 tsp.
  • olive oil - 1/2 cup
  • garlic - 4 cloves
  • roasted pine nuts - 1/2 cup
  • salt
  • black pepper

How to make

Blend the cleaned and washed spinach, basil, pine nuts, parmesan, garlic, black pepper, lemon peel and juice, 2 tbsp. olive oil and salt.

Blend until a smooth puree forms, add the remaining olive oil, blend once more and serve the fragrant pesto immediately.
