Start the homemade pesto recipe by boiling the chickpeas. When the chickpeas are cooked and strained, put them in a blender or chopper. You can also buy canned chickpeas.
I used yellow cheese, but you can use any cheese. Grate the cheese, then add it to the blender or chopper.
Place the spinach, salt and lemon juice in a chopper or blender. Blend for a minute, then add the olive oil and continue to blend the spinach pesto.
Put the chickpea and spinach pesto into jars.
