"Tandoori sauce goes with every dish, thats why we highly recommend it"

Ingredients

  • yogurt - 5.6 oz (160 g)
  • garlic powder - 2 pinches
  • fresh ginger root - as small as a walnut
  • cloves - 2 cloves
  • lime - 1/2 pc. (only the juice)
  • salt - by taste
  • black pepper - 2 pinches (finely ground)
  • cumin - 1 pinch (finely ground)
  • coriander - 1 tbsp. (dried leaves)
  • cinnamon - 1 pinch
  • nutmeg - 2 pinches

How to make

Mix the yoghurt, salt and lime juice in a bowl. Add all of the dry spices and crush the cloves between your fingers (without the stem)

Grate the fresh ginger root on a fine grater and add it to the mixture.

Cut the red onion into small cubes.

Mix the yogurt sauce well and season it to your liking by adding more of the spices, if you like a stronger taste.

The Indian tandoori sauce is great company for meat, fish or vegetables. It can also be used as a marinade.
