"Tahini sauce is mostly used in oriental cuisine. It is suitable for both vegetables and meat. It is very often used in vegan cuisine, as a dressing for salads or for roasted vegetables."

Ingredients

  • sesame tahini - 5 tbsp.
  • water - 4 tbsp.
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp.
  • lemon juice - from 1/2 lemon
  • garlic - 1 clove
  • coriander - 1 pinch
  • curry powder - 1 pinch
  • cumin powder - 1 pinch
  • cayenne pepper - 1 pinch (optional)
  • salt

How to make

In a bowl, mix the sesame tahini, water, olive oil and freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Mix well, then add the crushed clove of garlic and the spices.

Add ground coriander, curry powder, ground cumin, a pinch of cayenne pepper and finally as much salt as you like.

Blend, until a smooth sauce is obtained.
