Ingredients

  • oranges - 1 pc.
  • lemon - 1 pc.
  • lime - 1 pc
  • pink tiger lemon - 1 pc.
  • tangerine - 2 pcs.
  • white pepper - 1 tsp.
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • olive oil - 5 1/3 tbsp (80 ml)
  • parsley - a few sprigs
measures

How to make

The fish marinade is for about 1.1 lb (500 g) of poultry or white fish.

Squeeze the juice from the halves of all of the citrus fruit and cut the other halves into pieces.

In a wide and deep bowl, arrange a layer of fish or poultry fillets, sprinkle them with white pepper, salt and olive oil and pour the citrus juices on top.

Arrange a second layer which is flavored in the same way and so on, until you run out of products. Pour more olive oil and arrange the pieces of citrus and parsley stalks on top.

The bowl is wrapped in foil to stay fresh and it is stored in the refrigerator.

Marinating fish in the citrus marinade takes 30 minutes.

Marinating chicken, turkey or duck meat takes 2 hours or more.

With this marinade the meat or the fish turn out incredibly delicious!

Aromatic spices can be added if desired, but the citrus fruit themselves add a wonderful aroma.

Lime, lemon and orange peels can also be grated for a stronger taste, but don't go overboard with the quantities.
