Crack the egg into the liquidizer jug.
Add the salt, lemon juice, mustard and oil. Place the blender in the bottom of the jug and run it on high speed.
Pull it up gently and gradually, until you reach the surface.
Repeat the procedure several times.
Once the homemade mayonnaise has thickened, switch it off.
Close the French mayonnaise with a lid and leave it for a few hours in the refrigerator.
