"The broccoli pizza is a great low-carb option to replace your favorite but high-calorie food"

Ingredients

  • broccoli - 14 oz (400 g) without the stem
  • mozzarella - 9 oz (250 g) mature, grated
  • parmesan powder - 2.8 oz (80 g)
  • garlic - 4 cloves
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • salt - 2 pinches
measures

How to make

The broccoli pieces are washed and arranged in an oven tray.

The garlic cloves are cut into circles and wrapped in lightly greased aluminum foil. Place them in the tray along with the broccoli and bake them for 15 minutes in an oven preheated to 430°F (220 degrees).

When the baked vegetables have cooled, put 12 oz (350 g) of them in a blender along with 4.4 oz (125 g) of mozzarella, 1.7 oz (50 g) of parmesan and both eggs. Instead of mozzarella, yellow cheese, gouda or emmental can be used.

Add a little salt and blend everything for seconds at medium speed.

Spread the mixture into a pizza pan covered with baking paper. Its thickness should be 0.8-1 cm. Smooth it out with the back of a spoon.

Bake the pizza in a preheated oven at 480°F (250 degrees) for 15 minutes. Take it out and sprinkle it with the remaining cheeses. Arrange the 1.7 oz (50 grams) of broccoli into small pieces on top and add the sliced garlic at the end.

Place the pizza pan back into the oven briefly until the mozzarella has melted.

The broccoli pizza is served warm and sprinkled with the remaining Parmesan cheese.

Enjoy your meal!
