Divide the broccoli into florets and cook them for 3-4 minutes in boiling water. Then immediately chill them in ice water.
For the crumbing, beat the eggs with baking powder, 1 tablespoon white flour, 2 tablespoons corn flour, crushed garlic, ground pepper and salt to taste. The remaining corn and white flour are mixed separately with sesame. Preheat equal parts butter and oil in a pan, first roll the broccoli in dry mixture, then in the egg, and then - dry again.
Broccoli is fried evenly on both sides. Similarly do the cauliflower, which however must be pre-boiled for about 20 minutes.
