Ingredients

  • lentils - 2 cups (500 g)
  • potatoes - 4
  • carrots - 1, large
  • onions - 1 head, large
  • garlic - 5 cloves
  • tomato paste - 3 tbsp
  • oil
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • paprika
  • savory - 2 tsp

How to make

Put the lentils in a pot to boil with water, a little salt and oil. Once it comes to a boil, add the rinsed and cut into small cubes potatoes.

In a separate dish, sauté the chopped onion, carrot, and once stewed, add the coarsely diced garlic and tomato paste.

Pour the sautéed vegetables with tomato paste in to the lentils and potatoes. Mix and add salt, black pepper, paprika and savory.

Allow to boil and remove from the heat.
