How to make
Put the lentils and the spearmint to boil in salted water. Once tender, add the peeled and cut into small cubes potatoes. Once they soften, add the cleaned garlic cloves. Separately fry the finely chopped onion and carrots in heated oil. Once the onions brown, add the sliced sausages.
Stir and fry for about 5 minutes. Add the flour and paprika, stir and cook everything for 1 minute. Remove from the heat and add a little lukewarm water while stirring. Pour this mixture in to the lentils on the stove.
Again, stir continuously and add in the tomato puree. Reduce the heat and let it simmer to 10 minutes, stirring periodically. Add salt and black pepper to taste and remove from the heat.
