Ingredients

  • lamb legs - 4.4 lb (2 kg) - 5.5 lb (2.5 kg).
  • potatoes - 4.4 lb (2 kg)
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • paprika
  • mint - fresh
  • lovage - fresh
  • butter - 2/3 cup (150 g) cow
  • oil - 3 - 4 tablespoon
  • mustard - 2 tablespoons

How to make

Wash and dry the leg. Make small slits with a knife and stuff pre-chopped green spices inside. Beat the mustard with a little oil and rub the meat thoroughly.

Allow to marinate in a cool place for 1-2 hours. Sprinkle the meat with the remaining herbs and move it to the appropriate greased tray. Heat the butter with a little oil and pour some on it spoon by spoon.

Peel and slice the potatoes, if necessary. Spread them around the leg. Sprinkle spices and add a glass of water, or white wine.

Cover the pan with foil and place the leg of lamb with potatoes in to bake at 360°F (180°C) - 390°F (200°C) for about 2 - 2.30 hours
