How to make
Knead a soft dough by adding the products in the order listed above. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and leave it for 20 min. to rest.
Meanwhile, sprinkle the counter you'll be kneading the dough on lightly with flour. Prepare 2 glasses, one with a diameter of 3″ (8 cm) at the rim and the other 1 1/2″ (4 cm). Pour oil in the pan and heat it on low.
Roll out the dough to a sheet 1/2″ (1 cm) thick. First cut out circles with the large glass, then cut out smaller ones inside of them with the smaller glass. The result is bagel-shaped and small round fritters.
Fry both shapes to the desired color. Knead the remaining dough and cut out circles the same way. Arrange the ready fritters onto baking paper to get rid of the excess oil.
Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar, your favorite jam or a glass of ayran, milk or yoghurt.
