How to make
Pick out young and fresh green beans. Clean and wash them well. If they're too long, cut them into 2. Pour boiling water over them and leave them in it until they begin to soften.
Then rinse the parboiled green beans with cold water and leave them to drain from it. In the meantime, arrange the jars and put 1 tbsp of salt at the bottom of each.
Fill the jars with the drained green beans and put aspirin at the top.
Top off with water up to the rim of the glass jars and seal them. Sterilize for one hour and leave the jars to cool.
Once cooled, take them out of the water and arrange with their caps down. Thus prepared green beans are suitable for stews, salads and clay pot dishes.
