Ingredients

  • bell peppers - 6.5 lb (3 kg, ) red
  • cauliflowers - 4.5 lb (2 kg), cleaned
  • carrots - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • celery - 1 - 2 bunches
  • parsley - 1 bunch
  • garlic - 2 heads
  • for the marinade
  • vinegar - 2 4/5 cups (650 ml)
  • oil - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • salt - to taste
  • sugar - 3 cups (700 g)
  • honey - 1/5 cup (60 g)
  • aspirin - 12

How to make

Wash and cut the vegetables into coarse pieces. Add the coarsely chopped garlic, the parsley and celery.

Pour the vinegar, sugar, honey, oil and salt in a pot. Add the black pepper and bay leaf. Leave the marinade to come to a boil and remove it from the stove after 5 min.

Fill the jars with the veggies, while also adding a crumbled aspirin in each.

Distribute the marinade into the jars and close them. Turn them with the cap facing down and leave to cool.

Store in a cool area.
