How to make
Mix together the egg, soft butter and sugar by hand. Add the sifted flour with the baking powder and vanilla. Knead a soft dough, which must not stick to your fingers. Spread the dough in a buttered and covered with baking paper oven dish (about 9 3/4″ (25 cm), pressing it firmly to the edges and walls.
Mix together the products for the stuffing - the cream cheese, fig jam, crushed tea biscuits, walnuts, raisins. You will get a crumbly mixture. Distribute it on top of the pie crust and press in whole or halved fresh figs.
Put the pie to bake in a moderately pre-heated oven until ready.
