How to make
Lay out the puff pastry on the table and cut out 6 circles using a bowl that is 4″ (10 cm) in diameter. You can use the rest of the puff pastry to make snacks with a little cheese or feta cheese.
Cover a large shallow oven dish with baking paper and arrange the 6 puff pastry foundations with some distance between them.
Smear their ends with the beaten egg yolk. Arrange the figs that have been cut into slices on top in a fan arrangement in the middle of the tartlets. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Bake in a preheated 390°F (200 °C) oven until the edges redden.
Take them out and smear them with jam while still warm. If the jam is too thick, heat it briefly in a bowl beforehand. Sprinkle with powdered sugar again and serve with ice cream or cream.
