Ingredients

  • green peppers - 1 pc. big
  • oil - 4 tbsp.
  • tomatoes - 1 pc. large
  • onion - 1 large onion
  • salt - to taste
  • sugar - 1 tsp.
  • savory herb
  • paprika - 1/2 tsp.
  • basil
  • black pepper
  • bay leaf - 1 pc.
  • chicken livers - 1 lb (450 g)
  • flour - 1/2 cup for rolling
  • oil - 1/2 cup for frying

How to make

The vegetables are cleaned, the onion is finely chopped, the pepper - cut into pieces, the tomato is grated on a coarse grater.

Heat oil in a small pan and fry the onion and pepper, sprinkled with a little salt, until soft. Add grated tomato, paprika and stir to mix the products.

Pour 1 cup water, season with the spices and cook on low heat until done. Wash the chicken livers well and dry them.

Pour flour into a plastic bag, add the livers and shake it so that it sticks to them.

Heat oil and fry on both sides, patted from with excess flour.

Serve the chicken liver dish in a plate with a sprig of basil.
