How to make
The butter is left at room temperature to soften, then it is placed in a bowl, in which it will be mixed.
Add the sugar and mix with a mixer, until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Add the eggs one by one while continuously mixing. Add the milk and vanilla essence.
The spelt flour is mixed with the baking powder in a separate bowl, then it is added to the mixture after the milk and vanilla essence.
The mixture is stirred very well, until bubbles are obtained.
Sprinkle the cake tin with spelt flour and grease it with butter, then pour the mixture in it.
The sponge cake is baked in a preheated oven for 50 minutes at 320°F (160°C).
