Ingredients

  • potatoes - 1.3 lb (600 g)
  • smoked pork fillet - 0.9 lb (400 g)
  • onion - 1 small onion
  • sour cream - 7 oz (200 g)
  • liquid cream - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • yellow cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp.
  • salt - by taste
  • butter - 1 tbsp.

How to make

Peel and cut the potatoes into medium-thick circles. Boil them for about 15 minutes in salted, boiling water. Strain them.

Beat the sour cream with the egg. Add the grated yellow cheese and dilute with the liquid cooking cream. Season with salt and black pepper.

Dice the onion and the smoked pork fillet. Heat the oil in a deep pan on the stove at a moderate temperature and fry the onion for about 3 minutes. Add the pork fillet cubes and fry, by stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes.

Pour the boiled potato pieces at the bottom of a suitable (pre-greased) baking pan.

Pour the sauce and then the fried smoked fillet.

Bake the casserole in an oven at 360°F (180°C) for about 30 minutes.
