Ingredients

  • oats - 2.5 oz (70 g)
  • flaxseed flour - 1.4 oz (40 g)
  • whole grain flour - 1.4 oz (40 g), Graham type
  • white flour - 1.1 oz (30 g)
  • milk - 1 cup
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • baking powder - 1/2 tbsp (5 g)
  • brown sugar - 1 tbsp.
  • butter - 5 tbsp., melted
  • vanilla powder - 1 pc (0.2 g) or essence
  • salt - a pinch
  • oil - for greasing the waffle iron
  • fig jam

How to make

Beat the eggs along with the brown sugar and milk in a bowl.

After that, add the sifted flour with the baking powder (we have grinded the oats in a chopper into a fine flour), with continuous stirring.

Add the pinch of salt, vanilla and the melted butter (at room temperature).

You should get a cake-like mixture.

Before pouring the waffle batter, grease the waffle iron (preheated) with oil, by using a silicone brush.

Bake the waffles!

Spread the waffles with fig jam (or one of choice).

Serve the waffles with flaxseed flour warm!
