How to make
These are very easy to make biscuits, which have a pleasant strawberry aroma and are a great breakfast for people of all ages. They go well with coffee, juice or a glass of milk - it all depends on your preferences.
Clean the strawberries well, add the lemon peel and sugar to them and then blend them.
Add a pinch of salt and baking powder to the flour, rub the butter in the mixture, so that you get butter crumbs.
Add the strawberry mixture to them and stir, add the yolk and carefully knead a soft dough.
Put baking paper in a tray. Scoop a spoonful of the mixture and place it onto baking paper, by carefully smoothing the mixture into a round shape to form the biscuits. Leave space between them.
The other option is to use a piping bag - this will make them even easier to shape.
Preheat the oven to 360°F (180 degrees) and bake the butter biscuits for 12 minutes or until they're done.
The strawberry butter biscuits are ready.
