How to make

Oven 340°F (170 degrees);

Flat tray covered with baking paper.

Pour the egg whites into a suitable pot along with the lemon juice, which is placed on a heated hob on the 4 degrees of possible 9 degrees.

Beat them with a mixer at maximum speed. Add the sugar in portions and continue beating at maximum speed until it melts, by leaving no remnants of sugar crystals, or for about 7-8 minutes.

If you think, that the temperature of the hob is high, it is immediately lowered to the 3rd degree. A very fluffy, thick, shiny cream is obtained.

Transfer the beaten egg whites into a bowl, add the vanilla and walnuts and mix with a spatula.

With a tablespoon scoop the mixture and pour it into the tray into piles at a distance between them.

Bake at 340°F (170 degrees) for about 20-25 minutes.

Cool them and peel them off the paper.

Gorgeous in taste walnut cookies, although it is called ugly, this is because it is not shaped well and smooth on top. In appearance it is really a little rough on top, but with a wonderful texture on the inside and a very nice crunchy crust on the outside.
