"A delicious village-style dish, which will be eaten in no time. If you love beans, this is the perfect recipe for you"

Ingredients

  • pinto beans - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • bacon - 8.8 oz (250 g)
  • onion - 1 onion
  • peppers - 1 pc.
  • tomatoes - 2 pcs
  • salt - by taste
  • black pepper - 1 pinch
  • parsley - 1 tbsp.
  • water - 8 cups (2 liters)
measures

How to make

Soak the beans in warm water for several hours.

Cut the bacon into small pieces and add it along with the beans and 2 liters of water in a pot to boil together for 1 hour, until they soften. Keep in mind that the cooking time of the beans depends on your beans. So check after 1 hour if the beans are soft and if not, leave them boil a little longer, by checking them from time to time.

Finely chop the tomatoes and thicken them on the stove (fry them until the water evaporates).

Cut the onion and pepper into small pieces and add them along with the thickened tomatoes into the pot of beans.

Boil the dish for another 30 minutes.

Finally, add the salt and black pepper. Boil for another 10 minutes and add the chopped fresh parsley.

The dish is ready!
