Ingredients

  • beans - 1 2/3 cups (400 g)
  • bacon - 12.5 oz (350 g)
  • onions - 1 head
  • carrots - 1
  • tomatoes - 4/5 cup (200 g) sterilized
  • flour - 1 2/3 tbsp (25 g)
  • chili peppers - 1 2/3 tbsp (25 g) dried
  • spearmint - 2 tsp, dry
  • savory - 1 tsp, crumbled
  • salt
  • black pepper - ground, to taste

How to make

Wash and soak the beans overnight in water. The next day, discard the water and put the beans with new water to boil in a pot with the chopped bacon.

Allow to boil until the beans become tender and add the diced carrots, dried chilies, onions, tomatoes and pre-baked flour and paprika.

A few minutes before removing the beans with the bacon, add salt, spearmint and savory to taste.
