How to make
Pour the sifted flour into a bowl. Add the yeast, salt, sugar and basil and make a well.
Add the beaten egg into the well. Then pour the soda in the yogurt and pour it into the well again.
Knead non-stick dough, shape it into a ball and roll it out onto a floured surface into half a centimeter thick crust.
Then cut it into different shapes and leave them to rest for about 20-30 minutes in a warm place and covered with cling film.
Fry the homemade fritters in heated oil (1.5 cups for a small saucepan with a diameter of max. 9.5″ /25 cm/) until they aquire a golden color and eat them either with sugar or cheese, or whatever else you want.
